AMD said that its Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards now demonstrate significantly higher performance in a number of tasks. This is GPU-accelerated machine learning based on Microsoft’s TensorFlow-DirectML technology. Support for this technology appeared in the Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.8.2 driver some time ago, but there is no such data in the driver description, and AMD itself only spoke about it now.

As an example, the company cites AI Benchmark Alpha tests, where the Radeon RX 6600 XT and RX 6900 XT demonstrate a performance increase of 3.1-4.4 times compared to the old driver without support for the mentioned technology. For some reason, AMD only mentions these two video cards, although other models in the line must also support Microsoft technology.

TensorFlow-DirectML is a machine learning technology designed for a wide range of hardware including GPUs. As you can see, in the case of fresh AMD adapters, the performance can be very high. In general, the technology works on any graphics card with DirectX 12 support, and Microsoft itself mentions Nvidia and Intel as well.

The source claims that Intel’s first series of graphics cards will be named “Arc aXXX”, where “a” stands for Alchemist, the first generation of Arc GPUs. The leak he published contains Intel’s recommended rules for the correct construction of names (in the left column) and possible incorrect options (in the right). The MagicBook V14 2021 features a 14.2-inch display with a 2520 x 1680 pixel resolution at 90Hz frame rate and 100% sRGB coverage. There is a fingerprint scanner built into the power key, an NFC adapter, a 5-megapixel webcam. The cooling subsystem is represented by two heat pipes and two fans. It is quite quiet – the noise level in normal operation is 22 dB.

Honor unveiled the new MagicBook 16 Pro gaming laptops in China today. The lineup is represented by two models that differ only in video cards: the base one uses the GeForce GTX 1650, and the top one received the GeForce RTX 3050.

Laptops are equipped with IPS screens with a diagonal of 16.1 inches with a frame rate of 144 Hz and full HD resolution. The screen covers 100% of the sRGB color space and covers 87.3% of the lid area. The amount of RAM is 16 GB, the amount of SSD is 512 GB.
