The base in the new generation six-core Ryzen 5 7600X has finally been tested in the Cinebench R23 benchmark, which reflects the real performance in modern tasks much better than the same Geekbench.

New AMD in the normal version scored 1681 and 13,003 points in single-threaded and multi-threaded modes, respectively. When the Core Performance Boost (CPB) technology is activated, which actually changes the power limits, the results grow to 1920 and 14,767 points, respectively, that is, by 13-14%.

In the first case, under load, the temperature is only 56 degrees, and the power consumption does not exceed 61 W, and in the second, the processor requires 110 W and heats up to 92 degrees. And this is when using a liquid cooling system. The peak frequency reaches 4.7 GHz in the first case and 5.455 GHz in the second.

If we compare these results with other CPUs, in multi-threaded mode, which is much more important, this is about the level of the eight-core Ryzen 7 5700X, and the Core i5-12600K is faster. Whether the result will be better for a serial copy is still unknown. You also need to understand that this is only one test so far.

GeForce RTX 3090 is everything Nvidia is phasing out the

Even before the official premiere of Nvidia Ada Lovelace video cards, there were rumors that after the premiere of new products (and, in particular, the GeForce RTX 4090), Nvidia might discontinue the production of the GeForce RTX 3090, and it all happened: there is no place for GeForce in the current Nvidia line RTX 3090. Moreover, the age of the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti turned out to be short-lived.

This is what the current line of Nvidia 3D cards looks like after the announcement of the GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080

If the GeForce RTX 3090 has lived quite a long life, then you can’t say the same about the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. At the same time, this model performed the important function of a test platform for the GeForce RTX 4090. Well, since the GeForce RTX 4090 is already officially presented and will go on sale pretty soon, then there is no point in it: the current and previous flagship would simply compete with each other, which clearly not in the hands of Nvidia.

However, the fact that the GeForce RTX 3090 and RTX 3090 Ti are discontinued does not mean that these models will immediately disappear from sale. They will be available for purchase until stocks run out. Even now, these models are presented in the official Nvidia online store.

The best next generation Intel processors will ship in these packages

An image of the packaging of the Core i9-13900K processor has appeared on the Web, and at least in general all new-generation Core i9K CPUs.

As you can see, the packaging is very thin, and inside there is some metallic color insert, the design of which is not very clear yet. But it is she who, apparently, is the substrate for the processor.

Of course, there is no cooler in the box, since Intel has long ceased to equip top processors with cooling systems due to constantly growing power consumption.

Recall that the announcement of new CPUs is scheduled for September 27, and they are expected to go on sale in October. Also today, the Core i9-13900K once again showed what it can do.
