Discord messenger moderators publish quarterly security reports. The latest report states that Discord disabled 55,573,411 accounts and removed 68,379 servers from January to June 2022. Banned accounts, which Discord calls “outages”, were overwhelmingly due to “spam or spam-related violations.”

If offenses other than spam are considered, the number of accounts drops to 1,821,721. There is no exact number for servers. Non-spam server and account bans fall into general categories, but most of them are child safety-related, followed by exploitative and objectionable content.

In the past few years, the focus on extremist and illegal activities on Discord has been focused on content that harms children and content that promotes hatred. Earlier this year, the New York State Attorney General announced an investigation into platforms used to spread hate, including Discord, following a mass shooting.

According to Discord, account bans are aimed at the right people, as a very small percentage of users contact them to appeal the decision. As a result, some accounts are restored. This is just 2% of blocked users in the first quarter and 0.6% in the second quarter.

Discord is a messenger that is very popular among gamers and representatives of the gaming industry. Today, the service has more than 150 million active users.

Applications are accepted until December 28, and this is an indirect evidence that the company’s current devices will not receive the final version of the interface this year. Interestingly, testers are ready to write down not only owners of phones and tablets: it is likely that MIUI 14 will be released in a modified form for the same Xiaomi TVs.

Fiat may resurrect the Fiat 600 and Multipla but only

According to Autopassioneitaliana, Fiat is thinking about reviving the Fiat 600 and Multipla models. At the same time, the Italians plan to reorganize the lineup and bring more crossovers to the market, as the demand for this type of vehicle is still growing.

In autumn 2023, Fiat wants to launch a 4m long, 1.52m high compact crossover on the CMP platform, which will have petrol, hybrid and electric powertrains. According to reports, the model will be called Fiat 600 (the electric version will be called 600e) and will be produced in Poland.

The second crossover will also be based on the CMP platform. Groupe PSA developed this platform in 2018 and the first model built on this platform was the DS3. This was followed by the Opel Mokka, Peugeot 2008 and the new Jeep Avenger.
