The Pentagon acknowledged the existence of UFOs by releasing photos and videos. Historic hearings on this topic were held in the USA
Yesterday, the US hosted the first hearing in more than 50 years involving senior Pentagon officials on unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Over the past nearly two decades, there have been more than 140 phenomena that the US military cannot explain.
The hearings included both open and closed parts. On the open part, photos and videos about UFOs were declassified. According to the source, of greatest interest was an eight-second video that captured an unidentified object moving at great speed. The object was filmed during a training flight of one of the US Navy aircraft in 2021. The UFO flew close to the cockpit and narrowly avoided a collision. An unidentified object was recorded by sensors and was seen by the pilot of the aircraft. Representatives of the Pentagon in Congress could not explain the situation.
Scott Bray, deputy director of naval intelligence, said that it is often impossible to know the nature of these phenomena, since these objects have “unexpected flight characteristics.” He added that due to the limited amount of qualitative data, it is very difficult to draw conclusions about the nature and intentions of UFOs. In total, 11 such incidents were recorded, which almost turned into a collision. Scott Bray said the military did not take any action on the facilities.
Last year, the Pentagon acknowledged the presence of 144 such unexplained cases that have been recorded since 2004. In April, Fox News reached out to Lew Elizando, former director of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, for comment. He said that declassified Pentagon reports on UFOs could shed light on the unknown causes of military burns, paralysis and brain damage. He believes that this is precisely the result of contact with “advanced technologies.”
Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security Ronald Moultrie confirmed that the Pentagon acknowledged that “military personnel encountered unidentified phenomena in the air.” He added that this uncertainty in the issue of object identification entails specific risks, “because UFOs pose a potential threat to flight safety and general safety.” The Department of Defense already has a new working group that will work to identify and analyze unexplained phenomena such as UFOs.
Rep. Andre Carson said that the UFO stigma “for too long has hindered the quality of intelligence analysis”: reports were either laughed at, or hushed up by pilots, or these data were “put under the rug.”

Small flagship with new features. Redmi Note 12 will get an improved camcorder and a flat screen

Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group China and general manager of the Redmi brand, previously confirmed that the Redmi Note series will be updated every six months. At the same time, once a year, the focus will be on performance and new features.
In the first half of this year, Redmi launched the Note 11T Pro series, which was performance oriented. The Redmi Note 12 series, which will be released in the second half of this year, is positioned as a “small flagship” and will focus on new experiences.
A well-known insider under the nickname Digital Chat Station has revealed that the Redmi Note 12 series smartphones will use a flat screen with a hole for the front camera in the central upper part of the display.
The Redmi Note 11T Pro series uses an LCD screen, while the Redmi Note 11 Pro series uses OLED screens. In both cases, FullHD + resolution and a high image refresh rate are supported.
In addition, Digital Chat Station reports that Redmi Note 12 will receive a significantly improved image processing system. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ uses a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM2 image sensor with a 1/1.52-inch optical format. Probably, the new smartphone will receive an enlarged image sensor.
Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately announce the specifications and release dates of Redmi K50 and Xiaomi 12.

New iPads with notches: what they will be

According to LeaksApplePro, Apple is preparing three new iPad Pro tablets equipped with the Apple M2 single-chip system, which outperforms the Apple M1 by 18 and 35% in CPU and GPU speeds, respectively.
The most interesting of the trio will be a tablet with a screen diagonal of 14.1 inches, which will be released next year. The sixth-generation iPad Pro comes in 11-inch and 12.9-inch screen sizes this year. In addition to the Apple M2, they will also get a 5G modem and a Mini LED screen. The tablets will start at $800 and $1,100 for the 128GB versions.
As for the 14.1-inch version, it also features a Mini LED screen, a minimum storage capacity of 256 GB, and a price starting at $1,400.
Presumably, new tablets will receive a screen with a notch-type cutout, which iPhone smartphones will begin to abandon this year.

An enthusiast has created a giant working version of the Xbox Series X console

Like most home consoles, the Xbox Series X has been specifically designed to fit neatly into your living room. However, this was not enough for engineer Michael Pick, so he decided to create the world’s largest functional version of the Xbox Series X himself.
The author’s idea was partly inspired by a huge Microsoft refrigerator in the design of the console. However, the author wanted to keep the game features and copy the design exactly.
At the first stage, Peak had to create a wooden frame that mimics the body. Some parts had to be printed on a 3D printer and, mind you, glued. And on the rear panel of the giant console there are enlarged copies of real connectors – USB, audio and video output, network port, and so on.
Inside is the real Xbox Series X, and the button presses on the giant console are already transmitted to it. The final version is over 2 meters high, 1 meter wide and weighs 113 kg.
The giant Xbox Series X has already made it into the Guinness Book of Records. Michael donated it to the YMCA Youth and Adolescent Development Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
