The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro with Hasselblad camera have been re-introduced in China. With IP68 protection, ColorOS 11 shell, 65W charger included and much lower price

Yesterday the official global premiere of OnePlus 9 smartphones took place, and today the devices made their debut in the home market. Traditionally, new items are more affordable in China than in Europe. So, if for the basic OnePlus 9 in Europe they ask 700 euros, then in China – 580 dollars. The most expensive OnePlus in China (with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of flash) costs $ 920, while in Europe it costs 1,000 euros.
But that’s not all of the interesting stuff. For example, OnePlus showed a 65W charger that comes with smartphones. At the same time, the time of charging new products via cable was revealed – a 4500 mAh battery is fully charged in 29 minutes. The OnePlus 9 Pro supports 50W wireless charging and takes 43 minutes to fully charge when in use.
In the Chinese OnePlus 9 Pro, protection against dust and water was found, moreover, serious – in accordance with the degree of IP68. Nothing of the kind was said about the European model.
The company showed the camera interface in Hasselblad Pro mode, borrowed from Hasselblad cameras, as well as sample photos taken with the main camera of the OnePlus 9.
Finally, in China, OnePlus 9 debuted with the ColorOS 11 shell based on Android 11. This is a completely new version of the interface with a lot of improvements both in terms of a dark theme and control gestures, as well as the ability to customize various notifications, customize color schemes, wallpapers etc. ColorOS has been promised past and the year before last OnePlus flagships – OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 8T, OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T Pro, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. However, the European versions are running OxygenOS 11 – and the company stressed that they will not abandon the development of OxygenOS.
Finally, about the dimensions. The weight and thickness of the OnePlus 9 is 183 grams and 8.1 mm, the OnePlus 9 Pro is 197 grams and 8.7 mm. The company specifically tried to make new items, if not thinner, then at least lighter than other flagships. So, according to rumors, the mass of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra debuting next week will be more than 200 grams.
