The Noctua NH-P1 heatsink is designed for passive cooling of “regular desktop processors”

On the Newegg website, a Noctua NH-P1 radiator was spotted, designed for passive cooling of processors. The product is designed to be compatible with memory modules and power components on most motherboards. It includes a nickel-plated copper base, connected by six heat pipes to a giant block of aluminum fins. The huge surface area of the plates provides sufficient cooling without the use of fans.

According to Noctua, the heatsink copes with the heat generated by “regular desktop processors.” These include Intel Core i9-9900K, Ryzen 7 2700X, etc. In other words, most 10th and 11th Gen Intel processors (excluding the K series) and AMD Ryzen 3000 and Ryzen 5000 processors with up to 8 cores should work just fine with this heatsink. For processors with a higher TDP, one or two 120mm fans can be installed on the heatsink. Supported processor sockets include LGA1200, LGA115x, LGA2066, and AM4. The novelty costs $ 100.
