As it became known, the technology giant Apple plans to increase production of its devices in India, starting with the release of the iPhone twelfth series. To do this, a new Narasapura plant opened in Bangalore a little earlier.
An additional 10,000 employees are currently being sought.
The opening of a new production facility in India will allow Apple to increase its presence in the Indian market and circumvent import duties.
This will not be the first Cupertino giant smartphone made in India. But the uniqueness of this case is that this will be the first time that one of the Indian companies launched the production of the latest model of “apple” gadget.
It should be noted that Apple began production of the iPhone 12 in India for several reasons. First, the PLI scheme is being implemented in India, stimulating manufacturing companies, which provides a variety of benefits. Second, by law, 30% of foreign products sold on the domestic market must be produced by local enterprises.
