The most private WhatsApp conversations are now safe. Introduced “Close Chat” feature
The WhatsApp messenger development team has published a press release on the new features of the application.
The messenger now has a feature called “Closing chat”. It is a solution that allows users to secure their most private chats.
After you close the chat, it will be moved from the main screen to a separate folder. To open it, you will need to enter the device password or scan biometric data, such as a fingerprint. In addition, the content of messages from private chats will be automatically hidden in notifications.
We think this feature will be useful in situations where, for some reason, you hand over your phone to a loved one or any other person, and at that very moment you receive a very personal message. To close a chat, click on the name of the interlocutor in personal correspondence or the name of the group and select the appropriate option. To make private chats visible on the chats screen, swipe slowly, enter your phone passcode, or scan your biometrics
The developers also report that over the coming months they will add new features for this new feature. This includes closing chats on linked devices and creating a unique private chat password that will replace your phone password.

Apple Music Classical app is now available for Android, but not yet available for iPad and Mac

The Apple Music Classical app for listening to classical music is finally available for Android.
Recall that the Apple Music Classical app debuted in March. It’s a standalone app that doesn’t depend on regular Apple Music, and it didn’t exist on Android until today. You need an Apple Music subscription to use the service.
Interestingly, Apple Music Classical is still not available on Mac, and there is no optimized version for iPad. In addition, the service cannot be used through CarPlay.
Recall that Apple Music Classical provides access to more than five million songs and hundreds of playlists. At the same time, unlike the usual Apple Music application, it is possible to search by composer, work, conductor, catalog number, and so on.

This has never happened before, and here it is again: Windows 11 update replaces AMD GPU drivers with older versions

Users of the Windows 11 operating system are faced with a new unexpected problem. The OS can automatically install and update drivers. This is usually useful and good. However, now the system has started replacing newer drivers with outdated versions. And this leads to other problems – with certain software.
According to user complaints online, Windows Update mistakenly replaces AMD drivers in Windows 11 with outdated versions.
This causes users to encounter an AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition error message that says “Windows Update may have automatically replaced your AMD Graphics driver. Therefore, the AMD software version you are running is not compatible with the installed AMD Graphics driver.”
AMD has confirmed in a customer support document that the installed Windows driver for the Radeon GPU is incompatible with the currently installed version of AMD software. The company suggests that users either prevent Windows Update from updating AMD graphics drivers or reinstall AMD Software from the AMD website.

Redmi 10, Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G will soon receive the final MIUI 14. Also, the firmware will be released for four more Redmi and Poco models

Xiaomi is working tirelessly on MIUI 14 for those models that have not yet received the latest version of the Chinese company’s interface. These include, for example, the global (sold outside of China) Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G (aka Redmi Note 11E Pro), Poco M5s, Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 NFC, Redmi Note 11S 5G, Redmi Note 11S and Redmi 10 All of them, according to the Xiaomi UI resource (it constantly monitors the release of new firmware versions for Xiaomi smartphones), will receive MIUI 14 very soon.
This is not about the next beta version, but about the final one. For some (older) models, it will be based on Android 12, and for newer models, it will be based on Android 13. As noted, Xiaomi delayed the release of MIUI 14 for all these models because there were many bugs in previous versions. Now, one should think, all errors and shortcomings have been eliminated, and everything is ready for release.
