The man had to sell the family car to pay for the purchases made by his son in the game for iPhone

Dr. Muhammad Mutaza from Wales allowed his seven-year-old son to play with his iPhone for one hour, which was enough for the child to spend an impressive amount.

According to Cult Of Mac, Muhammad Mutaza allowed the child to play Dragons: Rise of Berk, believing that it was a free game. However, in just 60 minutes, the son made about 30 transactions (up to $ 137 each), spending more than $ 1,800 in total. As a result, the father had to sell the family car Toyota to pay the bills.

Apple sent a notification to the doctor after every purchase, but those notifications were sent via email, which Muhammad Mutaza rarely uses. As it turned out, seven-year-old Ashaz knew the password for his father’s account. At first, Dr. Mutaza thought that he had been hacked, but soon discovered that the “intruder” was his son.

Muhammad Mutaza, who has been an Apple user since 2005, issued the following statement to the company: “Well done, you robbed me and my child. You deceived him. ” He also vowed not to spend any more on the company’s products and services.

This is another lesson for parents who give phones to their children and rarely track the movement of funds on a linked card.
