Apple has long been releasing professional, according to its positioning, laptops with just two USB-C connectors. There are models on the market with only one such port. What about a laptop with no connectors at all?
Craob X is a mobile PC devoid of any ports. Including charging port. Of course, the laptop must be charged, and the ports need to be implemented somehow. For these purposes, the creators of Craob X came up with a rather original way.
In the photos you can see that the laptop is equipped with a docking station, which, firstly, has a fairly wide range of ports, and secondly, acts as a charger. To charge this docking station, you need to attach it to the laptop cover (everything is held on magnets). Yes, it looks a little strange and it is not clear how stable such a design is. In addition, if various devices and cables are connected to the docking station during the charging process, this will further aggravate the situation.
But the laptop itself is impressive. The thickness of the device is only 7 mm! How this is even possible to implement is not very clear, given that this is the total thickness when folded.
Moreover, a 28-watt Core i7-1280P processor is also used here, and it needs to be cooled somehow. From the rest, a 13.3-inch 4K screen, 32 GB of RAM, a 2 TB SSD and Wi-Fi 6E are reported. The mass of the device is 860 g.
There is no data on the price yet, as there is no information on the timing of the release.
