DxOMark lab specialists have published a review of the recording and sound quality of the new gaming smartphone Asus ROG Phone 5, which will be announced only on March 10 this year.

The Asus ROG Phone 5 earned 79 points, topping the ranking and beating the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, which has been the leader for the past year. The Asus ROG Phone 5 scored 78 points for playback and 79 points for video recording. Separately, they praise a good volume level, sound quality, excellent bass, no distortion, and so on.

Asus’ latest flagship, the ROG Phone 5, delivers the best sound quality of any phone we’ve tested to date, with consistent results and category-leading mid-range scores in both playback and recording. While it’s not the loudest or strongest bass we’ve measured to date, the Asus ROG Phone 5 is still a great choice for just about any use case.
