The iPhone 15 Pro will remove the proprietary sound switch, and instead of two volume buttons there will be one

The author of the ZoneOfTech YouTube channel has published exclusive information in which he is almost 100% sure: instead of two physical volume buttons, the iPhone 15 Pro will have one common solid-state button.

He explains this with drawings of the iPhone 15 Pro, which were previously leaked by manufacturers of protective cases. The fact is that Apple usually uses two pins to connect each button, but in the new render only two pins are shown in the place where the volume controls are located. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 render shows two separate four-pin connectors.

In addition, ZoneOfTech claims that the silent mode will be turned on with a new button, and not the classic physical switch that iPhone owners have long been accustomed to.

A growing body of insiders confirm that Apple is using solid-state buttons with tactile feedback to control power and volume on future iPhone 15 Pro models.

Apple is reportedly adding two additional Taptic Engines to the iPhone 15 Pro model to support solid-state buttons. The standard version of the iPhone 15 should have physical mechanical buttons.

9to5Mac, citing its own source, confirmed that the iPhone 15 Pro will have a unified volume button, as well as a mute button that will be pressed instead of toggled like before.

ZoneOfTech insider first showed the PlayStation 5 in the developer version.

Xiaomi is ready to mass produce a 300 watt smartphone charger

Xiaomi is ready to mass-produce 300W ultra-fast charging technology. With reference to the well-known insider Digital Chat Station, the Gizmochina resource says this.

Xiaomi is ready to mass-produce a 300-watt smartphone charger

In this case, it is not very clear what exactly is meant, since the technology itself cannot be put into production. We are talking either about the components, or directly about the memory itself. But in any case, this means that the corresponding smartphone is just around the corner.

It is not known which smartphone will be the first to receive a 300-watt charge, but the prototype of the technology was demonstrated by the Redmi brand, that is, apparently, it will not be Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone, but one of the Chinese giant’s sub-brand devices. Quite likely, this means that it will not be very expensive.

During the demo, we were told that the 4100 mAh battery would charge in just 5 minutes. True, this is a rather modest capacity for modern smartphones, but it is not a fact that a serial product will receive just such a battery.

At the moment, the fastest charger on the smartphone market is 240-watt from Realme.

Digital Chat Station was previously the first to accurately announce the specifications and release dates of Redmi K30, K40, Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 11.

The source says that up to 100 people will be laid off. Whether all of these are members of the Legion team is unclear, but some may well move to other units.

Smartphones from Motorola, which is owned by Lenovo, will not be affected. Officially, the company has not yet made any statements, but it should be noted that Lenovo itself has never really boasted about the achievements of its smartphone business. In addition, a few years ago, Lenovo already left the smartphone market altogether, although it then returned.

Bruce Lee, Head of Huawei’s mobile division, posted photos taken by colleagues in Malaysia on the camera of the latest Huawei P60 Pro on the Weibo social network. The Moon served as the object for shooting, however, now the conditions were such that Venus was also captured behind the crescent of the Moon.

Huawei P60 Pro has an unusual telephoto module – with a lens with a focal length of 90 mm, 200x hybrid zoom. But the most important thing is the record F / 2.1 aperture. For comparison, the aperture of the lens in the optical zoom module of the Honor Magic5 Ultimate is F / 3.0, while the Oppo Find X6 Pro is F / 2.6. The photo shows a lunar texture, and it is unlikely that it was generated by a neural network, like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
