Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Watch4 series at its next Galaxy Unpacked event, which is scheduled for August 11th. Rumors of the watch have continued to appear since January this year, and now we have real photos of one of the new models.

According to the resource 91Mobiles, which published these photos, they show the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic model in black and silver colors. According to previous images, the watch will have a physically rotating bezel and two buttons on the right side. Unfortunately, the image says little about the Wear OS 3 interface.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic is expected to go on sale in three sizes (42, 44 and 46 mm). The device will be based on the Samsung Exynos W920 single-chip system, it will receive 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of flash memory.

The main highlight of this wearable device will be the new unified Wear operating system, jointly developed by Google, Samsung and Fitbit.

The device’s codename is Rohan. At the same time, it is not yet clear whether the watch will be called the Pixel Watch, although this is the most logical option at first glance. It is also reported that the watch will not be cheap and will compete with the Apple Watch.

In addition, the source talks about integrating Fitbit features into the Wear OS that the watch will run on. This aspect was called Nightlight. As a reminder, Fitbit is now owned by Google.

It is also known about the round display, the absence of a physical frame, which may hint at a rounded glass, and the need to charge the watch every day, that is, the novelty cannot boast of autonomy, but in general this is true for most full-fledged smartwatches on the market.
