The Guardian named the best games of 2020 – the main prize went to Animal Crossing New Horizons



The authoritative British publication The Guardian named the best games of the outgoing year. Animal Crossing: New Horizons, an exclusive life simulator for the Nintendo Switch hybrid console, was recognized as the main project of the past 12 months. The second place went to an action RPG from indie studio Hades. Rounding out the top three is the horror adventure The Last of Us Part II, a PS4 exclusive.

  10. Fall Guys Battle Royale: Ultimate Knockout (PC, PS4);
  11. Action adventure Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS4, PS);
  12. Visual Novel If Found … (PC, Switch);
