The GeForce RTX 4070 is already selling below the recommended price. So far only in China
The premiere of the GeForce RTX 4070 took place on April 12, the novelty went on sale a day later, but, for example, in China you can already buy a new product cheaper than the recommended retail price (RRP).
In the US, the RRP for new items is $600, but in China, video cards are traditionally more expensive: the RRP is 4,800 yuan, or $700. However, some stores are already offering to get a new product at a price lower than the official one. So, one of the sites on the Taobao resource offers to purchase the GeForce RTX 4070 in the form of a non-reference dual-fan model from MSI (and with factory overclocking) for 4400 yuan ($640).
The Chinese resource ITHome notes that there is no shortage of GeForce RTX 4070. Moreover, perhaps due to the fact that demand is low, prices immediately began to decrease. But this situation is observed so far only in China.

As tests show, drives with PCIe 5.0 do need additional cooling, but models with active CO are often very noisy.

Asus has unveiled what it claims is the fastest GeForce RTX 4090. And at the same time, this is probably the most unusual RTX 4090 in appearance.
The ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 4090 features a liquid cooling system with a 360mm external radiator and three ROG MF-12S ARGB fans. Asus says the CO will be able to keep GPU temperatures below 60 degrees under load.
Another feature is the use of liquid metal as a thermal interface. This is the first RTX 4090 with this solution. Asus also notes that its adapter will have the highest GPU frequencies of any RTX 4090, but does not name the exact figure.
Well, the design is worth noting separately: the video card does not look like any other 3D card on the market, and from some angles it is generally impossible to understand what kind of device it is.

The secret to successfully cooling such powerful PSUs without too much noise lies in the use of an evaporation chamber. There are no other details yet, as well as no pricing data.
