The EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Kingpin graphics card is one of the best when it comes to overclocking. The impressive capabilities of the novelty were once again demonstrated by the overclocker Biso Biso.
He used two such adapters at once, a liquid nitrogen cooling system and two power supplies with a capacity of 1600 W each.
The typical power consumption of the RTX 3090 Ti under load is around 450-500W. But extreme overclocking squeezes all the juice out of the adapters, so that each adapter ended up consuming more than 1200 watts, that is, at the limit of the power subsystem’s capabilities. Recall that such cards are equipped with a pair of new 16-pin power connectors, each of which is capable of transmitting up to 600 W of power (in fact, a little more).
Apparently, when the two cards worked together, the maximum overclocking of the GPU was about 2550 MHz. But for one adapter it was possible to reach a frequency of almost 3 GHz! More precisely, 2925 MHz. The memory was overclocked to 24 GHz. By the way, the temperature of the GPU at the same time was only -40 degrees, which is quite a lot for liquid nitrogen.
Thanks to this overclocking, the enthusiast managed to set several new records. For example, one card scored 19,880 points in 3DMark Port Royal.
It can also be noted that if the current RTX 3090 Ti, as part of extreme overclocking, is capable of consuming more than 1200 W, that is, it runs into the limit of two 16-pin power connectors, then what kind of performance will the RTX 4090 have in a similar mode and how many connectors will it have? conditional RTX 4090 Kingpin?

Unfortunately, there is nothing in the list of source adapters that even roughly matches the GTX 1630. But if you look at older reviews, you can find that the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti at one time lagged behind the GTX 1650 not as much as the GTX 1630 lagged behind That is, the new Nvidia is even a little weaker than the GTX 1050 Ti. Actually, tests from other sources confirm this.
And here it would be useful to remember that the GTX 1050 Ti was introduced in 2016 and was priced at that time at $140. And the GTX 1630 costs $150. That is, Nvidia in 2022 released a video card of about the same level and at about the same price as six years ago.
Of the rest, only power consumption can be noted. In games, the adapter requires only about 50 watts, and the maximum that we managed to achieve from the card is 71 watts.
