In China, the production of the Exeed AtlantiX crossover, the most advanced brand in the line, has begun (Exeed is owned by Chery). When Chery released images of the AtlantiX, it wasn’t clear if it was an internal combustion engine or an electric car, but now we can say that the AtlantiX is a petrol crossover. It received a 2-liter turbocharged engine with a maximum torque of 400 Nm, an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive with 7 presets for cross-country travel.

The top version of Exeed AtlantiX has a 24-inch curved screen, SoC Snapdragon 8155 as part of a multimedia entertainment system, a 5G modem, and a projection screen. So far, alas, there is no data on when sales of Exeed AtlantiX will start and how much it will cost, but it is already clear that it will not be very expensive.

There are not as many details about the project as we would like, but it is reported that the car will receive motor-wheels and a fully controlled chassis (4WS) – both the front and rear wheels will turn. The cross-country ability will be no worse than that of some Cybertruck, high power and very good dynamics are also promised. It is expected that the car will receive the Huawei platform, on the basis of which the functions of the autonomous driving system will work (two lidars are attributed at once).
