Back in June, Qualcomm unveiled the new Snapdragon Wear 4100 chipset for wearable devices. This chipset can rightfully be considered the first significant platform update for Wear OS devices since its debut in 2014. Unlike previous processors based on Cortex-A7 cores, the new chip contains Cortex-A53 cores, which promises significant improvements.

Now Mobvoi has introduced the first device based on the latest platform. They are smart watches TicWatch Pro 3. The device has become noticeably lighter and thinner than its predecessors, which is directly related to the much higher energy efficiency of the new platform. The watch is 12.2 mm thick and weighs 42 g. The device is equipped with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The battery capacity is 577 mAh. A round 1.4-inch AMOLED matrix is used as a display.

The new watch has the typical functionality for this class of devices and boasts a blood oxygen level sensor. The manufacturer claims that the watch can last 72 hours on a single charge. The cost of the device is $ 300.
