Jelly Screen Issue Detected in Apple iPad mini 6: It is clearly shown in the video
The iPad mini 6 went on sale only the day before yesterday, but users have already started to complain about problems with the quality of the screen.
The problem is that when the tablet is placed in portrait orientation, there are noticeable slowdowns and a “jelly effect” when scrolling content.
The Council for Science and Technology Innovation of China has already confirmed that the Apple iPad mini 6 this year has an obvious “jelly screen” problem when placed vertically.
However, Apple has not yet commented on the situation, but the company has confirmed the iPhone 13 bugs.
iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPad Air, iPad mini and other older Apple devices receive a very important update
An iOS update for iPhone and iPad was released yesterday that fixes several types of vulnerabilities and security issues, mainly for devices released before the iPhone 7, that is, before 2016.
In iOS 12.5.5, users will find fixes for vulnerabilities related to CoreGraphics, WebKit and XNU. A vulnerability has been discovered for XNU that allows a malicious application to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. Apple noted that “an exploit for this issue really exists,” but did not report that the vulnerability was actively exploited.
For WebKit, “maliciously crafted web content” can potentially lead to arbitrary code execution. This vulnerability differs from the XNU issue because Apple is aware of cases in which the WebKit issue may have been “actively exploited.”
The CoreGraphics vulnerability worked by processing a malicious PDF file. This vulnerability could initiate arbitrary code execution through the specified malicious PDF file. The fix removes integer overflow through improved input validation.
This update is required for iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, iPad Air (1st generation), iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, and iPod touch 6th generation. You can download this software update by going to Settings – General – Software Update.
Early adopters of iPhone 13, iPad 9 and iPad mini 6 faced data transfer problem: Apple has already proposed a solution
The iPhone 13 smartphones, as well as the iPad 9 and iPad mini 6 tablets, are officially on sale today (or will, depending on the region). If users are migrating from an old Apple phone or tablet to a new one, there are instructions for them that describe how to complete the transfer.
According to official information, photos, videos, files, as well as paired Bluetooth devices, downloaded maps, the location of icons and other information should be transferred without problems. However, users have already discovered some bugs.
Apple has confirmed that if you restore a new iPhone or iPad from a backup, you won’t be able to access the Apple Music catalog, Apple Music preferences, or use the Sync Library on the new device.
This issue affects the following devices:
- iPhone 13
- iPhone 13 mini
- iPhone 13 Pro
- iPhone 13 Pro Max
- iPad (9th generation)
- iPad mini (6th generation)
To fix this problem, you need to update your software. To do this, go to Settings> General> Software Update.
