NASA reported that it had successfully completed all assigned tasks related to analysis and repair after two previous launch cancellations.

All objectives of the cryogenic demonstration test have been met, and the teams are now embarking on important safety and preparation activities to empty the rocket’s tanks. By detecting a hydrogen leak early in the loading process, the engineers were able to fix the problem and proceed with the planned actions.

The four main goals included evaluating repairs to repair a hydrogen leak found in a previous launch attempt, loading fuel into the rocket tanks using new procedures, performing a launch bleed, and performing a pre-pressurization test.

At the same time, NASA is in no hurry to claim that it will try to launch the rocket again in the near future. The agency says experts must first assess the data of the procedures performed, the weather and other factors. If all goes well, the launch could take place as early as September 27th.

Recall that Artemis 1 is the first mission to return Americans to the moon. Artemis 1 does not mean manned flight, not even landing on our satellite. Instead, the unmanned Orion spacecraft will spend several days in orbit around the moon. However, Artemis 2 already implies a manned flight, and Artemis 3 – the landing of astronauts on the moon.

Apparently, the reason is that the laptop is running Android. The company itself indicates JioOS as OS, but this is just a shell. Accordingly, any SoC would be suitable for such a mobile PC.

The Snapdragon 665 is manufactured on an 11nm process and has a 4G modem, but at the moment this platform should be very affordable, which could play a role in the choice of the company.

The laptop also includes 2 or 4 GB of RAM, 32 or 64 GB of eMMC flash memory and an 11.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

The source says that so far the laptop has only appeared on the government e-commerce platform, and even there it is indicated that only 10 laptops are available in the warehouse, but these are already details. So far, it is only unclear whether such a PC will be available to everyone.

At the end of September, it became clear how good smartphones in the new iPhone 14 line are in terms of performance. According to Antutu experts, although the iPhone 14 did not perform very well, the iPhone 14 Pro still boasts good results thanks to the A16 SoC and 6 GB of RAM.

As we can see, the iPhone 14 Pro managed to take 4th place in the ranking, losing in performance to Apple tablets – iPad Pro 5 of different diagonals and iPad Air 5 based on the Apple M1 SoC. At the same time, the more expensive and larger iPhone 14 Pro Max took fifth place, scoring less than the iPhone 14 Pro.

According to Antutu experts, the reason for this is due to the large screen size of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Last year’s iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max took eighth and seventh places, respectively, and the iPhone 13 was not included in the ranking.

The data was collected from September 1 to September 30, 2022. It is worth noting that the table shows the average, not the highest results, while at least 1000 tests were used for each model.

As it became known, the annual Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit will be held from November 14 to 17. The flagship SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen2 is expected to be unveiled at the event.

Presumably, the first flagship smartphone will be officially presented, in which Snapdragon 8 Gen2 will debut. In addition, manufacturers will announce support for the platform and promise to release new products.

Mydrivers writes that almost every Chinese manufacturer has already received a new chip, while some received it quite a while ago. The super core will be replaced by Cortex X3, which will have 22% higher performance than Cortex X2.

In addition, the GPU of the chip is expected to be upgraded to Adreno 740 and the X70 5G modem will support download speeds up to 10Gbps. The result in AnTuTu is expected to exceed 1.2 million points.

It is expected that the first smartphone based on the new platform will be Xiaomi 13. The smartphone should formally be announced on the same day, November 14, but the full presentation will take place later.
