The Chinese company Xiaomi presented today at a big presentation the new fully wireless headphones Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro.

The model is offered in gold and black versions for $163. Pre-orders have already begun – at a price reduced to $ 148.

For this money, the user gets stylish headphones with 11 mm speakers, active noise reduction system (up to 48 dB), battery life up to 9 hours, up to 38 hours with recharging from the case. The headphones can be fully charged in just half an hour, a 5-minute charge will provide an additional 3 hours of listening. SBC, AAC and LHDC 4.0 audio codecs are supported, as well as Spatial Audio surround sound.

This morning, Xiaomi Founder, Chairman and CEO Lei Jun released a new image showing the novelties of the company’s upcoming presentation together for the first time.

Earlier, Lei Jun officially announced that the thickness of Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 when unfolded is only 5.4 mm. After which Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi China, stated: “It can be used without recharging during the day.” Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 will have a 4500mAh battery and support 67W charging.

The presentation of these and other devices is expected today, in total Xiaomi plans to show or just immediately release about 30 devices.

Samsung Electronics presented today at the big presentation of Galaxy Unpacked not only the line of smart watches Galaxy Watch 5 and foldable smartphones Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, but also the new fully wireless headphones Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are the direct successor to last year’s Galaxy Buds Pro (review). They received a slightly redesigned design, improved sound quality, improved noise cancellation and enhanced connectivity, as well as several other new features.

Headphones are now completely matte, without glossy inserts. They have two speakers – for high and low frequencies, three microphones with a high signal-to-noise ratio, support for 24-bit Hi-Fi Audio.

The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro offers active noise cancellation with “sound transparency” support and a voice recognition feature that automatically switches the headphones to “sound transparency” mode and reduces media volume.

Also among the characteristics are 61 mAh and 500 mAh batteries (case), Bluetooth 5.3 (LE Audio support), water and sweat protection (IPX7). Battery life reaches 5 hours with noise reduction and 8 hours without noise reduction, with recharging from the case – up to 18 and 29 hours, respectively.

Headphones are offered in three colors – black, white and lilac. The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will go on sale August 26 for $229.99.
