A little-known Chinese mobile phone manufacturer, Goophone, has unveiled the GooPhone 12 Pro smartphone, which does not hesitate to copy the upcoming flagship Apple iPhone 12 Pro with its name and back panel design.
Goophone has become famous for the release of clones of the popular iPhone and Samsung Galaxy smartphones. Usually, the company’s phones use inexpensive chipsets from MediaTek. They run the Android operating system with a graphical interface reminiscent of the devices they are copying.
Goophone 12 Pro received four image sensors with a resolution of 48, 13, 5 and megapixels. The device will be equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD + display, but the manufacturer decided not to copy the bezel of the iPhone 12 Pro, but opted for a standard solution with a hole for the front camera in the corner. Its resolution is 13 megapixels. It should be noted that the advertising render clearly shows the narrowed screen frames, but in reality they will be much more noticeable.
The GooPhone 12 Pro should get a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 3.0 flash.
The manufacturer claims that the smartphone will be released very soon, but the price has not yet been announced.
