The first Geely crossover with Meizu Flyme Auto interface, Harman Kardon acoustics and a 92-inch projection screen. Lynk & Co 08 introduced
Geely-owned brand Lynk & Co has unveiled its most advanced crossover, the Lynk & Co 08. This is a rather large, but still mid-size model that has a number of noteworthy features.
Alas, the creators did not reveal all the cards: it is only reported that the power plant here is hybrid with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and a thermal efficiency of 44.26%. But there should be a lot of power, and the drive will certainly be complete. More details about the technical part of the car will appear in April, and prices will probably be announced at the same time.
The dimensions of the crossover are 4820 x 1915 x 1685 mm, the wheelbase is decent – 2848 mm. Among the features of the exterior design are handles hidden in the door, 21-inch rims and pronounced lighting graphics. It is reported that there will be various lighting effects, and the matrix headlights use 32 LEDs each.
The lack of data on technology is compensated by data on equipment – Geely has also published many photos of the interior, which reflect key points. For example, Lynk & Co 08 is the brand’s first car with a Harman Kardon sound system. And he is the first with a media system with the Meizu Flyme Auto interface (recall, Meizu has recently been owned by Geely).
There are three screens in the cabin of the crossover. Digital dashboard graphics are displayed on a 12.3-inch display, a 15.4-inch screen is installed in the center of the front panel, and the highlight is a huge 92-inch projection screen.
Interestingly, the Ecarx Antora 1000 Pro single-chip system, which seems to have been developed by Meizu itself, is responsible for the operation of the media system, as well as many auxiliary systems and driver assistance systems. It is more powerful than the Qualcomm SA8155P SoC traditionally used in Chinese cars due to the inclusion of two 7-nanometer single-chip systems at once.

378 hp, all-wheel drive, consumption of 1.83 l/100 km and recognizable style. Haval showed the hybrid crossover Haval Big Dog Hi4 (second generation Dargo) before the premiere
Haval today announced the imminent premiere of the Haval Big Dog Hi4 SUV (aka second generation Dargo). The debut will take place on March 25, and prices will probably be revealed then. As for the characteristics and appearance, they have already been revealed.
According to the Chinese media, the Haval Big Dog Hi4 will be made in “fashionable power aesthetics” – this means the brutal design known from the Haval “dog family” crossovers and SUVs. In this case, the car will have a new radiator grille with a voluminous chrome pattern. The logo on a blue background indicates the hybrid nature of the crossover.
Inside, everything is typical Haval. The car will receive a digital dashboard with a 12.3-inch diagonal screen and a media system with a 14.6-inch diagonal screen, an “aviation” gear knob, a 9-inch head-up display and a number of level 2+ driver assistance systems. Among them are such interesting ones as “intelligent avoidance of large vehicles” (apparently for those who are afraid of overtaking trucks) and “intelligent detection of confusing forks.”
The length of the Haval Big Dog Hi4 is 4705 mm, the wheelbase is 2810 mm. Ground clearance is 200 mm, approach and departure angles are 24° and 30°, respectively. The hybrid has the ability to share the energy stored in the traction battery: the output power of the 220 V outlet is 3.3 kW.
This rarely happens, but the parameters of the power plant are already known now, before the official premiere. The Haval Big Dog Hi4 will have a three-motor setup with a 1.5-liter petrol engine under the hood and two electric motors. The total power of the power plant will be 378 hp, and consumption in hybrid mode (with a charged traction battery) will be only 1.83 l/100 km. Interestingly, through the settings it will be possible to set a variety of operating modes of the power plant: for example, switch from a parallel hybrid to a serial one or use only one of the electric motors.

A car that is not afraid of frost, and the first Chery car that measures the heart rate and blood pressure of passengers. Exeed Exlantix ET pre-orders will begin on April 15 in China
Chery said pre-sales of its new flagship all-electric SUV Exeed Exlantix ET will begin on April 15 in China. In the Chinese market the car is known as Sterra ET. The first batch of production vehicles already rolled off the production line in Anhui province in January. The EREV version will be released a little later.
The Exlantix ET measures 4955 x 1975 x 1698 mm and has a wheelbase of 3000 mm. The rear part received through-type lights. The car received the popular retractable door handles.
Exlantix ET is equipped with 30 sensors and two Orin-X chips to provide advanced driving assistance capabilities in both city and highway conditions.
Inside, there is a large 15.6-inch central control screen, and there are various modes including baby mode, pet mode and karaoke mode. The size of the dashboard has not yet been disclosed.
Features include zero-gravity seats with ventilation/heating/massage, a 23-speaker Lion Melody Max audio system, a sunroof and a health monitoring system that can track passengers' heart rate, blood pressure, and other health data in real time. .
The car is equipped with engines with a power of 183 and 230 kW. Acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 5.46 seconds. CATL previously announced that the Exeed Exlantix ET will be the first vehicle to use a Shenxing battery. Exeed carried out a number of winter tests, such as freezing the entire car for 24 hours at -30°C and placing the battery in ice water for one hour, then drying it and installing it back on the car, after which the battery continued to function properly.
The Shenxing Superfast Charging battery was introduced last August during the CATL conference. It can provide a range of up to 700 km. According to CATL, despite the low-cost lithium iron phosphate (LFP) structure, it supports 4C charging, becoming the world's first 4C LFP battery. The multiplier next to C indicates how many times the battery can be charged in an hour. So 4C means the battery can be fully charged in 15 minutes, or four times per hour.
At -20°C in Inner Mongolia, the car was charged from 20% to 80% in 24 minutes. Under normal conditions, at a temperature of 25°C, the car can replenish its range by 400 km in 10 minutes.

The GAC has started self-copying. Family crossover GAC GS4 Max presented
Chinese manufacturer GAC has released a new crossover GS4 Max, positioned as a family car. However, upon closer examination, it turned out that the new product almost completely replicates another model of the brand – the youth GAC Emkoo.
GAC GS4 Max is built on the same platform as Emkoo, and the differences in dimensions between them are minimal. The length of the GS4 Max is 4685 mm versus 4680 mm for the Emkoo, the width is identical – 1901 mm, and the height difference is only 20 mm in favor of the GS4 Max (1690 mm). The wheelbase and trunk volume are the same for both models.
The main difference between the crossovers is the design: the GS4 Max is more discreet and calm, which corresponds to the positioning of the model as a family one. In the cabin, the difference is also minimal and lies in some elements, such as the transmission selector and the design of the ventilation deflectors.
As for the technical stuffing, the GAC GS4 Max has lost the top-end 2.0 liter turbocharged engine with 252 hp, available for Emkoo, and is offered only with a 177 hp 1.5 liter turbo engine paired with a 7-speed robot. In addition, the family crossover did not receive the hybrid version available for the youth model.
Otherwise, the equipment of the GAC GS4 Max is completely identical to the Emkoo and includes 8 airbags, L2 level autonomous driving systems, a panoramic roof, heated front seats, electrically adjustable driver's seat, multimedia with a large screen and voice control, as well as a digital instrument panel.
