Chinese sources have learned from a senior Huawei official familiar with the matter that HarmonyOS 2.0 will be officially released globally on June 2 this year.

It is reported that on this day, users of many smartphones will be able to upgrade to HarmonyOS 2.0 with literally one click. It is also reported that more than 200 key mobile applications currently support HarmonyOS 2.0.

It also became known that since the beginning of beta testing of the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system for developers, more than 300,000 ordinary consumers have received an update.

HarmonyOS has been in development for the past 5 years, with Huawei spending millions of dollars developing it. Huawei has officially stated that HarmonyOS should “take 16% of the market as soon as possible,” and that HarmonyOS is available to all smartphone manufacturers.
