Core i7-11700 is an eight-core CPU with Hyper-Threading support and frequencies of 2.9-4.4 GHz. It was tested on an Asus ROG Maxumis XIII motherboard with DDR4-3200 memory.

As you can see, if we are not considering games, then the Core i7-11700 is always significantly ahead of its predecessor and almost always lags behind the Ryzen 7 5800X to varying degrees. At the same time, if the Core i7-11700 will cost at the level of the current Intel model, which is about $ 330 (recommended price), then it will be a competitor rather for the Ryzen 5 5600X, since the recommended price of an eight-core AMD is $ 450. And in this form, the new Intel looks very interesting.
