The Core i9-11900K is cheaper than the i9-10900K. The prices of all Intel Rocket Lake processors have become known
Intel’s Rocket Lake and Comet Lake Refresh processors will only go on sale in March, but the Belgian retailer has already revealed the cost of 14 Rocket Lake and 5 Comet Lake Refresh models. Surprisingly, the top-end desktop Intel Core 11 was more affordable than the current flagship Intel Core 10.

The most interesting, of course, is the cost of the flagship Rocket Lake. It turns out that the Core i9-11900K in Europe is even cheaper than its predecessor – 500 euros against 550 euros. This can be explained by the smaller number of cores of the new product (but the performance is even higher). And the Core i7-11700K, on the contrary, is more expensive than the Core i7-10700K: 375 euros against 320. The Core i5-11600K is also slightly more expensive than the Core i5-10600K: 240 euros against 230. However, there is a lot of time before the release of these CPUs, so prices may change and, probably, downward.

Can Nvidia thank you again for another push? Tests have shown that the mobile GeForce RTX 4090 is approximately equal to the desktop RTX 3090

Today, thematic resources began to publish reviews of laptops with GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 graphics cards, so now we can assess what mobile gaming will be like in the next couple of years.
In the case of laptops, reviews are usually not as voluminous as for desktop graphics cards, so information will have to be taken from various sources. Let’s start with Computerbase, which didn’t test new games in 4K, using WQHD resolution instead. In addition, in this case, there are only tests of the RTX 4090.
In this configuration, the mobile RTX 4090 is identical to the desktop RTX 3090, while the desktop RTX 4070 Ti, which is a relative of the mobile RTX 4090, is only 5% faster. The gaming capabilities of the RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 3090/3090 Ti are well known to us, so we can safely say that top laptops are now capable of handling 4K games without any reservations at maximum graphics settings.
As for the comparison with the mobile RTX 3080 Ti that topped the lineup last generation, it’s better to check out the TechSpot review, which shows that in 4K the new card is on average 58% faster than the old one! This is about the same increase as when moving from RTX 3090 Ti to RTX 4090.
If we talk about the mobile RTX 4080, then it is faster than the mobile RTX 3080 Ti by 25-30% depending on the resolution.
Thus, both new Nvidia mobile graphics cards provide an impressive increase relative to the best mobile solution of the last generation, and the RTX 4090 takes mobile gaming to a new level, because just a few months ago, the RTX 3090, which is now equaled by the mobile RTX 4090, was one of the most powerful graphics cards on the market.
At the same time, as always, it is worth remembering that mobile video cards, unlike desktop ones, can differ greatly due to power limits. The tests above involved cards with maximum limits, but the same RTX 4090, instead of its 175 W, can have a limit of only 80 W, in which case the performance will be completely different.

The first tests of the China-exclusive Intel Core i7-13790F Black Edition processor have appeared

As we already know, exclusive Intel Black Edition CPUs have reappeared in China, which are not available in other markets. And today, a review of the older model Core i7-13790F appeared on the Web.
The Core i7-13790F is identical in configuration to the Core i7-13700F but has 3MB more L3 cache. In CPU-Z, such a processor scores 836 and 12,140 points in single-threaded and multi-threaded modes, respectively. This makes it slightly faster than the Core i9-12900KS or Ryzen 9 5950X.
In China, a novelty is now asking for $ 442, but there may well be a premium for novelty.

A cheaper RTX 40 graphics card will be released in April. GeForce RTX 4070 is credited with 5888 CUDA cores

The line of GeForce RTX 40 graphics cards may be replenished with a more affordable model no earlier than in April.
The Videocardz resource says that it got hold of Nvidia documents, where exactly April is indicated as the launch month of the GeForce RTX 4070.
It is not yet known how much the video card will cost, but it will clearly be cheaper than the $800 RTX 4070 Ti. As for the parameters, at the moment, leaks and rumors say that the card will receive 5888 CUDA cores and 12 GB of GDDR6X memory with a 192-bit bus.
So far we can only guess about performance. That being said, if the leaks are correct, then the performance difference between the RTX 4070 and RTX 4070 Ti will be significantly larger than the RTX 3070/3070 Ti pair, as there is a much larger difference in the number of CUDA cores. At the same time, we recall that the RTX 3070 also has 5888 CUDA cores.
