The capacity of the batteries of the iPhone 12 and 12 mini has become known

IPhone 12 mini has the shortest battery life of all new Apple smartphones, as it has the smallest body. The manufacturer did not provide information on the battery capacity of its new products, but regulatory documents from Brazil shed light on this indicator. According to the information received, the iPhone 12 mini is equipped with a 2227 mAh battery.

The iPhone 12 is reportedly equipped with a 2,815mAh battery, which is less than the iPhone 11 with its 3,110mAh battery.

The information came from ANATEL, Brazil’s National Telecommunications Agency, which certifies new mobile devices. The data was found by the Brazilian site Tecnoblog, which claims to have found documentation for all four new iPhone models. However, information about the capacity of the 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max has not yet been disclosed.

Recall, early leaks also indicated that the iPhone 12 mini will receive a 2227 mAh battery. There is a possibility that the 12 and 12 Pro got different battery capacities. The earliest certifications suggested that the 12 Pro Max will receive a 3697mAh battery. However, it is not yet clear whether this statement will be confirmed.

Apple appears to be using smaller batteries in this year’s iPhone lineup compared to the iPhone 11 lineup. The iPhone 12 lineup has similar battery life due to the energy efficiency improvements of the A14 Bionic chip.

According to Apple, the iPhone 12 mini’s battery lasts 15 hours for video playback, up to 10 hours for video streaming, and up to 50 hours for audio playback. The iPhone 12 and 12 Pro offer up to 17, 11 and 65 hours, respectively, while the 12 Pro Max offers up to 20 hours of video playback, up to 12 hours of video streaming, and up to 80 hours of audio playback.
