The official premiere of the affordable Redmi Pad tablet is expected on October 4, but a detailed video review of the device has already been published on the Web. It is possible that the video can be removed, so below are the most interesting screenshots.
Redmi Pad is made in a rather thin metal case. The tablet really received four speakers, Dolby Atmos technology is supported. There is no slot for a SIM card (as well as an LTE modem), but you can install a memory card up to 1 TB.
The screen is with a 10.61-inch IPS panel, Full HD + resolution and a frame rate of 90 Hz (you can choose one of two modes in the settings – 60 or 90 Hz). The hardware platform, as previously reported, is MediaTek Helio G99. The version seen in the video has 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory. The battery capacity was 8000 mAh, 18 W charging is supported, but the bundled charger outputs 22.5 W.
The software platform is MIUI 13.1 based on Android 12. RAM expansion technology is supported – it can be “upgraded” by 2 GB. The cameras in the tablet are simple, the resolution of both the front and the main one is 8 megapixels.
It is expected that in Europe the cost of Redmi Pad will not exceed 250 euros.
The free neural network Stable Diffusion has appeared on the iPhone and iPad. But it won’t work everywhere.
Technologies do not stand still, this is also true for generative neural networks that create images based on text queries. And so the popular Stable Diffusion neural network appeared on mobile devices – so far only on Apple solutions.
The novelty is called Draw Things, and it is completely free. There are no ads or built-in advanced features. It doesn’t require an internet connection to work, although you’ll need to download a few gigabytes of additional data the first time you run it.
After launch, you can write a request in English, and the system will generate the required image. At the same time, the system has several limitations that relate to the purely technical parameters of mobile devices. So, on smartphones and tablets with 2-3 GB of RAM, program crashes are possible.
According to the developer, the system works fine on iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, 12, 12 Mini, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, SE 3rd Gen, 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max, 14, 14 Plus , 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max and any iPad with 4 GB of RAM.
Also note that images with a size of 512×512 pixels and more will be created for a long time – at least 2 minutes, or even longer. It will be faster only on the top-end iPad Pro with 16 GB of RAM.
Finally, the program so far only supports generating one image at a time. The package cannot be generated. You can download the program itself here.

Samsung, and the device on MediaTek and without AMOLED is definitely for fans? Galaxy Tab S8 FE tablet options appeared
Fan tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE may not get what the Korean giant’s mobile devices are often praised for.
According to well-known insider Roland Quandt, it will receive an IPS display. Of course, there are quite a few users who prefer these panels, and not AMOLED, but at one time Samsung became famous for the latter.
The insider also says that the tablet will support Wacom styluses. According to recent Geekbench data, the tablet will receive SoC MediaTek Kompanio 900T. Apparently, this will be the first fan-made Samsung device based on the MediaTek platform. In comparison, the current Galaxy Tab S7 SE is powered by the Snapdragon 750G/778G depending on the version.
Roland Quandt fully declassified the GoPro 9 Black and GoPro 10 Black cameras prior to their announcement and gave their exact cost, as well as published accurate renderings of the Nokia G21, Xiaomi Mi A3, Xiaomi Mi 9T, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and many other smartphones.
