The ban was lifted: the media published a video with the unboxing of PS5

Some time ago, information appeared that the specialized editions that received the PlayStation 5 for review will release their videos in parts and gradually. And today, November 27, when the ban on the publication of the first videos slept, it became clear that this was really so – large publications simultaneously published an unboxing of a new generation set-top box from Sony. It should be noted right away that we are talking about unpacking, and not about a detailed performance test or a full review – most likely, such videos will appear a little later, closer to the release of the console. Now the fans are given a look at what is in the box.

Actually, nothing surprising was found there. The journalists demonstrated a rather weighty HDMI cable, a cable for supplying power to the set-top box, a USB to USB Type-C charging cable, a stand for installing the console in a vertical or horizontal position, a gamepad and, of course, the console itself. It is important to note that there is no charging unit for a gamepad in the kit – the user can either charge the controller directly from the console itself, or use an existing unit from a smartphone or tablet. Perhaps Sony, like Apple, has decided to reduce its emissions.

Moreover, some representatives of the Western media in the video with the unpacking of the console itself can also see the unpacking of accessories – the delivery set will also surprise no one, but you can evaluate the appearance of the devices and their real dimensions. The docking station for charging two gamepads at once looks especially interesting. And, of course, none of the journalists named the date when a full review of the game console will be released. There is a rumor on the network that Sony will lift the ban on the publication of the review on the day the set-top box is released in the United States, that is, on November 12, but there is no official information regarding this statement.
