The art of making money: Elon Musk became much richer after buying shares of Twitter
Yesterday it became known that the founder of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, acquired a 9.2% stake in Twitter, which owns the social network of the same name.
To be more precise, the deal took place on March 14, while he paid a little less than $ 3 billion for the shares. It seemed like a huge amount, but in just a day after the appearance of this information, his fortune increased by more than 15 billion dollars.
Of course, the main reason is that Twitter shares, which were worth around 35 euros, are now trading near 46 euros and continue to rise in price.
According to Forbes, Elon Musk’s fortune exceeded $300 billion, while Bloomberg indicates an amount of 288 billion euros.
By the way, Musk is already planning major changes to Twitter.
