The Apple M1 is faster than the latest 125W Core i7-11700K. In the PassMark test, the Cupertino platform bypasses Intel CPU
It’s no secret that the Apple M1 SoC turned out to be very productive. In a number of tasks, it bypasses full-fledged old-generation Intel desktop processors.
As it turned out, the new one too. According to the PassMark benchmark, Apple’s single-chip system is even faster than the latest eight-core Core i7-11700K in single-threaded performance. SoC M1 has 3550 points, while Intel’s new product has 3542 points. In fact, of course, these are the most similar indicators, and we can only talk about the advantage of the Apple product only conditionally. At the same time, the Core i9-11900K is still the first with a score of 3741 points.
As for AMD, it has the fastest in this benchmark is the Ryzen 7 5800X with a score of 3506 points. But the 10-core Core i9-10900K lags significantly behind with its 3171 points. Of course, this is just one benchmark, and a very specific one, but it only proves once again that Apple has turned out to be a very worthwhile product.

Tickets bought Berries. Aviasales bought the yagodki.rf domain and set up a redirect from it to its website

Today we already wrote that the retailer Wildberries filed an application for registration of the Yagodki trademark – the company renamed its official website to Yagodki for just a day as part of a marketing campaign, but this became the most discussed event of the week. It was logical to assume that Wildberries also had plans for the corresponding domain, but here everything clearly did not go according to the marketplace scenario: “berries.rf” is already registered and leads to a very specific resource.
After Wildberries changed its name to “Berries”, Aviasales, in the wake of the Internet hype, renamed itself “Tickets”. But the air ticket search engine went even further – it bought out the yagodki.rf domain and set redirects to its main site. So now, by going to “berries.rf”, you automatically get to the main Aviasales (which will obviously be called “Tickets” for a long time). It turns out that whoever is first, he ate the “berry”.
