Note that earlier it became known about the A750 Challenger video card, which was brought to the Tokyo Game Show 2022. The Japanese resource GdM published a number of photos showing that the card is equipped with two 8-pin power connectors, and not 8 + 6, as in the reference version Intel.

This city, according to the idea of ​​its creators, should become the most pedestrian in the world: it will be possible to move in it only on foot, by bicycle or electric buggies. Thus, it is planned to reduce emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere and preserve the environment for future generations.

The central area is planned to be divided into zones, each of which has a specific function, for example, medical or educational. “Everyone has contacted me, from spacecraft manufacturers to architects to clothing and footwear companies,” said Xiulin Zhuang, professor of mechanical engineering and paint developer at Purdue University. “They basically had two questions: where can I buy it and can I make the layer thinner?”

The unique paint uses barium sulfate nanoparticles that can reflect 98.1% of sunlight, as well as cool outdoor surfaces by more than 4.5 degrees Celsius relative to the environment. However, for the coating to work effectively, its thickness had to be at least 400 microns.

A plant for the production of new lithographic equipment will be built in Japan. The estimated investment will amount to $345 million, and production will start in the spring of 2025.

It is important to note that for the production there will use a technology called nanoprinting lithography. It eliminates the need for EUV lithography (deep ultraviolet lithography), which requires a lot of energy and is expensive. EUV lithography machines only produce ASML.

Canon’s new technology will reduce the cost of production due to the fact that nanoprinted lithography can reduce production costs by up to 40% and energy consumption by up to 90%.

Note that the technology of nanoprinted lithography was developed more than 10 years ago, it allows you to create schemes for 10 nanometers with a potential reduction to 2-3 nanometers. However, implementation issues forced the market to switch to EUV lithography. If the technology can prove its worth, this can lead to a significant reduction in the cost of microelectronics.

Earlier it was reported that the US authorities require ASML Holding NV not to supply equipment for the production of chips to China.
