The 5GB RAM limit for iPadOS apps can be exceeded, but there are a number of conditions.
Apple may partially fix the problem with limiting the amount of RAM that is allocated to applications in iPadOS.
Recall, when the iPad appeared on the SoC M1, equipped with 8 or 16 GB of RAM, it became known that programs can use a maximum of 5 GB, although the system itself can consume an unlimited amount of RAM.
With the release of the second beta version of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, developers have the right to request permission to grant privileged access to RAM. That is, in this case, the 5 GB limit will be removed. The catch, however, is that access to additional memory is not guaranteed, so developers need to make sure their software is running properly when no additional memory is allocated. In addition, this feature will only be available on some supported devices, the list of which is not yet available.

Redmi Note 8 will not receive MIUI 13. Support for this model has been discontinued
A source who regularly publishes details about firmware for Xiaomi smartphones shared bad news for users of the once very popular Redmi Note 8 model: it will not receive MIUI 13 firmware, although previously there were no prerequisites for this model not to be updated to MIUI 13 (albeit based on Android 11) was not.
It’s a rather interesting situation: MIUI 13 internal beta testing for Redmi Note 8 started on November 24 – and firmware updates have been regularly released all this time. Yes, they were not available to a wide audience, but the work was carried out, and it was carried out for almost half a year. But on June 16, everything stopped, and that’s it: work on the release of MIUI 13 for Redmi Note 8 was stopped. He joined Mi CC9, Mi CC9 Meitu, Mi 9 SE, Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro and Mi 9, which will not receive MIUI 13 either. Redmi Note 8 Pro will not receive MIUI 13 either.

Anbernic to release $300 Windows 10 handheld game console in July

The Chinese company Anbernic will launch the Win600 handheld game console based on the AMD Athlon processor with Radeon Vega 3 graphics in July. The novelty will receive Windows 10 Home and Linux-based Steam OS support, as well as a price tag of $ 300.
Promised 8 GB of RAM, but only in single-channel mode. There will also be 128 or 256 GB in the form of an M.2 2242 SSD. The device will receive a design typical of such consoles, which includes a small screen, D-Pad, analog sticks, control buttons and triggers. Also, the novelty will receive active cooling, stereo speakers, as well as headphone and microphone outputs.
It seems that such a console would be well suited for running retro games or streaming games in the clouds. Given that the hardware is rather weak, it is unlikely that she will be able to run the same Cyberpunk 2077.
Earlier, we recall, AOKZOE introduced the A1 console with a much more powerful processor and graphics.

Samsung Galaxy M11 received Android 12 with One UI 4.1 interface

Samsung’s update train has finally made its way to entry-level smartphones, with one of its previously popular models, the Galaxy M11, getting Android 12 with One UI 4.1.
So far, the update has only been released in Vietnam – it will take at least a few more weeks for a truly global release. The software is numbered M115FXXU3CVF6 and includes the June Android security updates. The list of innovations has not been published, however, given the budgetary status of the Galaxy M11, not all One UI 4.1 features can be implemented in it.
The Galaxy M11, we recall, was released in the spring of 2020 with Android 10 preinstalled. The Snapdragon 450-based model later received the One UI 3.1 update based on Android 11.
