And now he is preparing for his first flight. The X-57 Maxwell is based on the light Italian Tecnam P2006T aircraft, which allowed NASA to significantly reduce the time it takes to create its project.

The first flight of the X-57 is scheduled for next spring. At the same time, in the existing photographs, the aircraft is equipped with only two engines, although the concept involves the additional installation of 12 more smaller ones, the blades of which fold when not in use. They will be installed later.

Tesla has published a report on the results of the third fiscal quarter of this year. And it mentions the company’s loss from investments in bitcoin in the amount of $ 51 million. More precisely, we are talking about the depreciation of the asset by the specified amount, since in the third quarter, according to the report, the company did not sell or buy cryptocurrency.

Tesla’s third quarter ended on September 30. On that day, Bitcoin was worth a maximum of about $ 44,000. However, according to US law, although the company is obliged to stipulate the depreciation of digital assets in its financial statements, it is not required to indicate their growth. According to some estimates, Tesla now owns more than 43,000 bitcoins, which at its current exchange rate equals more than $ 2.8 billion. In terms of the financial statement as a whole, the company generated $ 13.76 billion. Net income amounted to $ 1.62 billion, which is almost five times more than a year earlier. The automotive business earned the company $ 12.06 billion, and the company raised another $ 806 million from its energy business, which combines energy storage and rooftop solar panels. …

Rumors about this have been circulating on the web for a long time, but now the information has been officially confirmed by the head of the European division of Nissan, Guillaume Cartier. Back in July, plans were announced to build a new crossover in Sunderland as part of a massive £ 1 billion investment in the plant. The Nissan Leaf electric crossover will go into production in 2025 at a plant in the UK. At the initial stage, it is planned to produce 100 thousand cars annually.

The new Nissan Leaf crossover will be based on the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance CMF-EV platform. By 2025, Nissan’s main lineup will include five models, all of which will be electrified crossovers: Juke, Qashqai, Ariya, X-Trail and Leaf. The emphasis on electrification means Nissan will not invest in combustion engine technology to meet EU7 emission requirements due to be introduced in Europe in the middle of the decade. There are no technical details about the future of the Nissan Leaf yet. …
