Tesla to buy more than $ 400 million camera sensors from Samsung for Cybertruck

Samsung, represented by Samsung Electro-Mechanics, has signed a deal with Tesla for over $ 400 million.

More precisely, sources write that the deal was concluded with the largest electric car manufacturer in the United States, but this is Tesla. The exact amount is $ 435.7 million.

As part of the deal, Samsung will supply the auto giant with camera modules. They will be used, judging by the description, will be in the Cybertruck pickup. Again, the model is not named, but it is said that it was presented in 2019, in addition, it is devoid of side mirrors and is a strategically important product for the company.

Tesla cars typically use eight cameras, but pickups should have more.
