Tesla opens world’s largest Supercharger station

Tesla has been rapidly expanding its Supercharger network lately and a few days ago announced the opening of the world’s largest Supercharger charging station.

So far, the automaker has produced more EVs than any other company. At the same time, the company is trying to maintain its infrastructure, including service centers, a fleet of mobile services and a network of charging stations.

Tesla’s charging infrastructure mainly consists of the Supercharger network, which is arguably one of the company’s largest assets. Tesla recently announced that it has launched its 20,000th Supercharger. Now the world’s largest Supercharger station has been opened.

A few months ago, it became known that Tesla was building a new Supercharger station in Firebo, California. This station has 56 chargers installed. Tesla has several Supercharger stations with 50 charges, but 56 is a new record.

This new station is six times larger than the average Tesla Supercharger. It has a convenience store and a restaurant where Tesla owners can wait until the charging process is complete. Tesla has also built solar canopies to provide shade for vehicles and to help power the Supercharger station.
