Tesla cars are now able to move on autopilot even on a dirt road without marking. All thanks to the FSD v9 function

Tesla has released its highly anticipated Full Self-Driving Beta v9 (FSD v9) software update for its vehicles. FSD is a conditionally full autopilot feature that allows the car to move on its own, even in the city.

The new version, among other things, changes the autopilot algorithms. Now it relies on data from cameras (Tesla Vision), not lidars, and uses machine learning to make the system more accurate.

And in the video below you can see that it seems to work. In particular, the car is able to move itself even on a dirt road without any markings.

Yes, in this case there is a clear border of the road due to vegetation, and the road itself is on the navigation map. But the capabilities of the car are still impressive, and no other production car is now capable of this.
