Team Group Releases DDR4 DARK Z FPS Memory and Cardea IOPS Gaming PCIe Drive



Team Group, under its T-FORCE gaming brand, is releasing two new products for gamers and enthusiasts. The first is a DARK Z FPS DDR4 memory kit consisting of two 8 GB modules with a massive aluminum heatsink. The second product is Cardea IOPS Gaming PCIe SSD with efficient cooling for maximum performance.

The presented DARK Z FPS DDR4 memory kit consists of modules supporting 4000 MHz. In the product description, the timing is CL16-18-18-38 at a voltage of 1.45 V. The OC profile is supported. The manufacturer speaks of using high quality microcircuits that are thoroughly tested for compatibility and reliability. The company provides a lifetime warranty.

The Team Group Cardea IOPS solid state drive received a cooling system in two versions: an aluminum radiator or a graphene heat spreader. Team Group reports that the graphene heat spreader improves heat dissipation by 9% and the massive aluminum heat sink by 15%.

From the description on the official website, it follows that the Cardea IOPS Gaming PCIe Gen3x4 (NVMe 1.3) drive will be available in a 1 TB version, providing sequential read / write speeds at 3400/3000 MB / s. Random read speed is rated at 680K IOPS, 670K IOPS for writing. The version with the graphene heat spreader weighs only 9 g, and with the aluminum heat sink 45 g.

The model supports TRIM, SMART, LDPC ECC, E2E Data Protection technologies. The manufacturer claims a resource of 1.5 million hours, and gives a 5-year warranty.

Both new items will go on sale in January. The Team Group T-FORCE Dark Z FPS DDR4 memory kit will be priced at $ 140. The Team Group T-FORCE CARDEA IOPS SSD will go on sale for a suggested price of $ 165.
