Durabook Americas has introduced an unusual tablet with the plain name R8 Tablet. The device is interesting in that it is a tablet on the Intel platform that is very well protected from external influences, but at the same time with passive CO.
In this case, there are MIL-STD-810H, ANSI/UL C1D2 and MIL-STD-461G certifications, as well as IP66 water and dust protection. That is, the tablet is not afraid of dust and water (in the case of water, there is protection against powerful jets, but the device cannot be immersed in water), it can withstand drops from a height of up to 180 cm, and can also withstand increased vibration, high and low temperatures, an increased level of electromagnetic radiation and so on.
The tablet is equipped with an eight-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels with a brightness of up to 800 cd / m2 with support for a stylus and work with gloves. The current Intel processors serve as the heart: Core i5-1230U, Core i7-1250U or Pentium Gold 8500. There are 8 or 16 GB of RAM, an SSD from 128 GB to 1 TB, cameras with a resolution of 2 and 8 megapixels, USB-C ports, Thunderbolt 4 , a microSD slot, a dedicated docking station connector and optional ports to choose from. There are also Wi-Fi 6E and Bluoetooth 5.2 adapters. Of course, it is possible to install various expansion modules.
The battery here is removable, which should be enough for 8 hours of work. There is an optional high-capacity battery that doubles the run time.

The Winfuture resource does not talk about the platform, but tablets have previously appeared on the Internet with Exynos 1380. For comparison, the current generation, depending on the modification, offers either Snapdragon 750G or Snapdragon 778G.
The younger new product will offer 6/128 GB of memory in the base, and the older one will have 8/256 GB. You can also highlight water protection (IP68), a single camera in the younger version and a double camera in the older one.
It is expected that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE will cost from 530 euros, and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ will cost from 700 euros.
The budget tablet OnePlus Pad Go will be fully presented on October 6, but its characteristics have already appeared on the Internet.
The tablet, priced at $240, will have a fairly large 11.35-inch diagonal IPS screen with a 2.4K resolution and a 7:5 aspect ratio.
It is unknown what platform it will be based on, but the device will receive 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of flash memory, four speakers and a memory card slot.
All this will work under OxygenOS 13.2 based on Android 13. It is also reported that the weight of the tablet will be 523 g, which is not bad for such a large device.
