Despite all the rumors, the Realme X7 Pro will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+.
The internet can sometimes be a big surprise. For a couple of weeks now, we have been actively discussing the imminent release of new smartphones from Realme of the X7 line, namely the younger X7 and the older X7 Pro. Various leaks have fueled interest by providing different types of insider information. For a long time it was believed that Proshka would work on the top chip from Qualcomm – Snapdragon 865. But today the result of the smartphone test appeared in GeekBench, which put an end to all rumors.
On the website of the famous benchmark, the result of testing Realme RMX2121 appeared – this name hides the same Realme X7 Pro. And the table showed that the heart of the smartphone is the chipset from MediaTek Dimensity 1000+.
Realme has already shared some of the X7 Pro’s features like a 120Hz OLED display. We could also observe some characteristics of the new item in the TENAA database, but the chip was not indicated in its lists, which caused even more rumors to appear. The Realme X7 Pro modification, which passed the GeekBench test, contains 8 GB of RAM – this is the top version. The basic modification will include 6 GB of RAM.
The Dimensity 1000+ is a great competitor to the Snapdragon 865 and is also cheaper. The chip supports displays with Full HD + resolution and refresh rates up to 144 Hz. It features four Cortex-A77 and four Cortex-A55 cores, as well as a fairly powerful Mali G77 MP9 GPU. Well, do not forget about 5G support, but for us, unfortunately, this is irrelevant.
Let us recall the rest of the device’s characteristics: 6.55-inch OLED display with Full HD + resolution, 64 Megapixel main camera, 4500 mAh battery with fast charging up to 65 W.
The presentation of the Realme X7 line is slated for September 1st in India.
