Spotify for Computers has a big design relaunch

The team at Spotify, the world’s most popular streaming music service, has released a long-awaited big update to the desktop and web client design.
Now, Spotify’s design on both PC and browser will begin to match the recently updated Spotify mobile app, which, unlike the desktop version, gets regular updates.
The new design provides a cleaner and simpler home page, a streamlined sidebar, and filters to sort the user’s music library. In addition, there are new tools for playlists.
Tracks can be simply dragged from the player to playlists, and playlists now have a separate search bar for quickly adding songs and podcasts. Premium users can save music and podcasts for playback offline.
As the developers note, the new design has been tested for several months. In the coming weeks, the update will be available to all users.
