Sony is going to release more exclusives for the PlayStation on PC. This is evidenced by the company’s corporate report for 2020, in which the company stated that it is open to expanding its portfolio on the platform.
“We are considering releasing our own PC games to drive further profit growth,” the company said in a report.
Horizon Zero Dawn, a 2017 game developed by Guerrilla Games, gave up exclusivity for the PlayStation 4 and switched to PCs earlier this month. Death Stranding and Detroit: Become Human were released earlier. Given the trend, in the near future they may be joined by God of War, The Last of Us or Gran Turismo Sport.
In the report, Sony also states that it will “invest or buy companies with advanced technology to create Worldwide Studios (WWS).”
