Sony Shares Three New PlayStation 5 Setup Videos

Published

on

With just a week left until the launch of the new PlayStation 5 console, Sony has decided to share three new videos to help game console owners set up after purchase.

Note that the posted video not only gives an idea of the new console interface, but also demonstrates several useful features.

The first video shows how to set up an account. After connecting the console to the Internet, the user will be offered two options for entering account data. The “standard” method involves entering a username and password, which can be problematic if you use a game controller for this. The second method is much easier; the user only needs to scan the QR code using the PlayStation app.

The second video demonstrates the setup process. For example, we are shown how to set up haptic feedback and trigger sensitivity on a DualSense controller. In addition, in the settings menu, you can select one of the proposed 3D sound profiles to determine which sound is most suitable for a comfortable game.

The third video will show you how data is transferred from the PlayStation 4 to the PlayStation 5. Note that the data transfer takes place in the background.

The console developers are asking future PS5 owners to store PS4 games on an external hard drive, as the console does not support running games developed for the PlayStation 5 from an external SSD.

Recall that the launch of the Sony PlayStation 5 is scheduled for November 12 and 19.

You can pre-order the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition here.
