Sony Semiconductor Solutions has released specifications for a 21.46MP Four Thirds (21.77mm diagonal) CMOS sensor. At the moment, the IMX472-AAJK is the first known serial sensor with a multi-layer layout. It features a 27dB programmable gain amplifier, 12-bit A / D converter and 14-bit SLVS-EC scalable interface. This allowed for impressive opportunities.

So, in full resolution of 5280 x 3956 pixels with 12-bit representation, you can shoot at 121 fps. By choosing 10-bit representation, you can increase the frequency to 158.4 fps. By decreasing the resolution, you can also increase the frequency. So, when shooting with a resolution of 1760 x 1318 pixels, you can calculate not the frequencies of 358.7 fps and 465.7 fps with 12-bit and 10-bit data representation, respectively. The complete table of reading modes is shown below:

The sensor description says the AAJK variant is a Quad Bayer sensor. This does not exclude the possibility of releasing a version with a conventional Bayer filter. For packaging, we chose an LGA package with dimensions of 20.58 x 16.45 mm with 216 pins.

If we talk about other companies, Realme increased sales by 76%, but fell to seventh place. Apple came in eighth with a 197% increase in sales, and interestingly enough, Pebble watches, which is now owned by Mensa, are in ninth.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra will indeed get a 200MP camera. Samsung allegedly confirmed this to its partners

The source claims that Samsung has already confirmed this information to its partners. Recall that we have heard such rumors before. At the same time, it is not yet clear which sensor the Korean giant will use, but rumors said that this would be a solution that has not yet been announced.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra will be the only flagship device with such a camera, but that’s to be expected, as the latest generation S2x Ultra models have always had a different camera than the younger versions.
