2K Games and Activision announced last month that their next generation games will cost $ 10 more. Now Sony has joined them.

Prices for the next generation

On the PlayStation Blog, the company announced prices for exclusive games for PlayStation 5. For example, Demon’s Souls from Bluepoint Games and Japan Studio will cost $ 70 or € 80. Destruction All Stars and Marvel’s got the same price tags Spider-man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition.

The exception was base Marvel’s Spider-man: Miles Morales for $ 50 or € 60, and Sackboy A Big Adventure for $ 60 or € 70. It is noteworthy that these games will also be released on the PlayStation 4, and not only for the upcoming PlayStation 5. Perhaps the price tag of the first cross-platform projects will remain at the same level, but for the new generation games you will have to pay extra.

It is also worth noting that the above games are exclusives. Third-party games are priced by their respective publishers and may vary.

Recall that the global release of the PlayStation 5 is scheduled for November 19, and prices start at $ 400 for the “diskless version”, and the standard PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray will cost already $ 500.
