Sony has solved problems with downloading games on the PlayStation 5

Ever since the release of consoles on the American market, users have noticed that some games simply do not install when downloaded from the official store. Later, users found that the purchased games are queued for download, and then they simply disappear from there.

This bug concerns the installation of the games Mortal Kombat 11 and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The worst thing is that after the toy takes the download queue and disappears, you can neither cancel nor continue the download. Rather, it is possible, but in a radical way. Reset your console to factory settings. Such a pleasure for a gamer. Moreover, this bug is attached only to games for the PlayStation 5. With the “four” everything works with a bang.

A recent firmware update for the new console also did not resolve the queued download issue. And only today, the official message on Twitter made the waiting gamers happy.

The developers advise to restore the console database. To do this, you need to update to the new version of the software and start the console in safe mode.

  • Turn off the console completely.
  • Press the power button and wait for the beep, then hold it for another seven seconds until the second sounds. Letting go.
  • We connect the controller via USB and press the PS button.

Then we execute “Rebuild database”.

This method solves the problem with loading games, but it is not clear if this action fixes the bug itself. Or the next downloads will again be put in a phantom queue.
