The head of Sony Interactive Entertainment Jim Ryan still cannot answer if PlayStation fans will be able to play the new games from Bethesda.

The fate of new games from Bethesda Softworks has become a topic of discussion for all gamers after the purchase by Microsoft ZeniMax Media studio. The deal then amounted to an impressive $ 7.5 billion, although many analysts are confident that ZeniMax is valued much more expensive.

If all goes according to plan, by early 2021, Xbox Game Studios will expand from 15 to 23 studios, including Bethesda Game Studios. Recall that these developers are responsible for the creation of such series as Fallout and The Elder Scrolls, as well as the fantastic long-term construction of Starfield.

Ryan said in an interview last week about the ZeniMax purchase:

“This decision is not in our hands, we will wait and see what happens. I am looking forward to further information on this deal. We respect the steps our competitors have taken, and they seem to be well thought out. ”
