Fossil has announced two smartwatches, including the Razer X Fossil Gen 6, which we reported yesterday, and the Skagen Falster Gen 6.

The Skagen Falster Gen 6 smartwatch is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+ SoC and is compatible with Wear OS 3. The corresponding update will be released at a later date. The watch received 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of flash memory.

The Skagen Falster Gen 6 comes with a 42mm case and is available in a variety of colors, including silver, rose gold, charcoal and black. There are three strap styles to choose from: Skagen’s popular stainless steel mesh, silicone and leather, all in different colors.

Skagen Falster Gen 6 received a 1.28-inch display and customizable dials and buttons. In terms of sensor equipment and capabilities, this watch is fully consistent with the Razer X Fossil Gen 6 model. That is, it can record heart rate, monitor blood oxygen levels, allow you to answer calls and so on. The watch also offers the same impressive charging speed, from 0 to 80% in just 30 minutes.

Former Apple designer Imran Chaudhry spoke at The Business of Fashion’s Voices 2022 conference about “the post-smartphone era and how artificial intelligence will change everything.” At the end of his speech, he confirmed the presentation of new products at the beginning of next year.

The teaser features a hand, the Humane logo, and the words “Spring 2023”. Presumably then we will see both wearables and the operating system or platform behind them.

The era of

Judging by the patents, teaser and previously released information, Humane is most likely working on an Android-based wearable device that projects an image onto your hand.

In addition, Chaudhry criticized smart glasses, stating that they “add a barrier between the person and their surroundings.” He believes that few people want to walk in this form.

Putting computation on our face not only makes us look funny, it doesn’t enhance our humanity either. Rather, it has a negative impact on our human connection because eye contact is an important part of human connection. It helps us understand each other and feel closer to others.
