Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, 54 MP, 23 GB RAM, 4800 mAh. Honor 80 GT unveiled
Together with the Honor Tablet V8 Pro, Honor today officially introduced the new flagship mid-range phone Honor 80. The novelty is the Honor 80 GT model, aimed at computer gamers.
It is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 platform and runs MagicOS 7.0 based on Android 13. The SoC and other components are cooled by a 4386 mm vapor chamber2 and 0.35 mm thick.
RAM – LPDDR5, flash memory – UFS 3.1. The already large amount of RAM at 12 or 16 GB can be increased by another 7 GB by creating a virtual partition in the flash memory.
The flat AMOLED display features Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz frame rate. The PWM control frequency is 2160 Hz, and the peak brightness reaches 1400 cd/sq.m. The company also tried to minimize the screen frame as much as possible.
Honor 80 GT received a triple camera with a main sensor Sony IMX 800 with a resolution of 54 megapixels – the same is used in Honor 70 Pro and Xiaomi 13.
Phone thickness – 7.9 mm, weight – 187 grams. Honor 80 GT turned out to be lighter and thinner than Xiaomi 12S Pro and iQOO 10 Pro, built on the same platform, but it heats up less in games.
The battery capacity was 4800 mAh, 66 W charging is supported.
Honor 80 GT will be available in three colors, of which only black is simple. White is a gradient, and blue imitates a starry sky. As for prices, they look like this: 12/256 GB – $ 475, 16/256 GB – $ 520.

If the CX-90 is the flagship, how can the CX-80 be the flagship? It’s simple: the CX-90 is a model for the US market, but the CX-80 will be the top model in Japan and Europe. He, as the name implies, will replace the CX-8. The CX-80 will be 4950mm long and the new model will be 25mm longer, 45mm wider and 10mm taller than the CX-8. Inside there will be three rows of seats.
The base for the CX-80 will be a 2.5-liter gasoline four-cylinder engine. There will also be a 3.3L inline-six diesel engine, a “mild” diesel hybrid and a plug-in hybrid powertrain borrowed from the CX-4.
The premiere of the Mazda CX-80 is expected this fall.

The Chinese resource Autohome has published high-quality images of the Zeekr X compact electric crossover (Zeekr brand is owned by Geeky). It will be the brand’s third model after the Zeekr 001 premium hatchback and the Zeekr 009 minivan.
The Zeekr X has some things in common with the Zeekr 001, but in general the crossover has received an individual look. Of the features – the absence of door handles, frameless windows, “muscular” sidewalls and a straightened roofline for more headroom for rear passengers.
The Zeekr X will be based on the Geely SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform, which is also used by Volvo. Despite its compactness (dimensions – 4450 x 1836 x 1572 mm), the car will be quite spacious inside, as the wheelbase is 2750 mm long. For comparison, the current Hyundai Santa Fe with a length of 4785 mm has a wheelbase of 2765 mm.
What will be the traction batteries and electric motors – one can only guess for now, but Geely has already officially announced that the Zeekr X will accelerate to 100 km / h in 3 seconds.

Verified online whistleblower Ice Universe posted new photos on Twitter showing the optical and digital zoom capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra flagship smartphone.
The pictures were taken with an ultra-wide-angle camera (0.6x), a main module (1x), as well as two telephoto lenses with 3x, 10x, 30x and 100x zoom.
