Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Dimensity 9000, Android 12 and Magic UI 6.0, 50 MP and 100x hybrid zoom, 4800 mAh. Possible specifications of Honor Magic 4, Honor Magic 4 Pro and Honor Magic 4 Pro+
Last week, Honor’s promising flagship Magic 4 appeared in the Geekbench test, where it confidently outperformed the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in terms of performance. And now it’s time to reveal the characteristics of all three models of the line: Magic 4, Magic 4 Pro and Magic 4 Pro+. The data is unofficial, but quite real. And there are no other details about these smartphones yet.
Models will differ primarily in screens and, therefore, in dimensions. Magic 4 is credited with a 6.55-inch screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The Magic 4 Pro is rumored to have a 6.67-inch display with a resolution of 2772 x 1344 pixels. Well, the top-end Magic 4 Pro + will have a 6.78-inch panel with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels. The screens will be made by the Chinese BOE, all of them will provide a frame rate of 120 Hz, DCI-P3 color space coverage and support for HDR10+.
The hardware platform of the base Magic 4 will be based on the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, the other two models will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The base Magic 4 will not be protected from dust and water. The other two models will have it, but it will be different: IP53 for Magic 4 Pro and IP68 for Magic 4 Pro +.
The base model of the line will receive a camera with three sensors – a resolution of 50 (wide-angle lens), 50 (ultra wide-angle lens) and 16 (telephoto lens with 10x hybrid zoom) megapixels. The resolution of the front camera will be 16 megapixels.
The Magic 4 Pro and Magic 4 Pro+ cameras are more interesting: 50-megapixel wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle sensors will be complemented by a 50-megapixel monochrome sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with 100x hybrid zoom, and a laser autofocus assistant. Both of these models will receive dual front cameras with a main sensor with a resolution of 13 megapixels.
All three models are assigned rechargeable batteries with a capacity of 4800 mAh. The base Magic 4 will support 66W wired charging. Magic 4 Pro is credited with 66W wired charging and 50W wireless power, while the top-end Magic 4 Pro + will have 100W wired power and 50W wireless power.
What all three models have in common is LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash memory, fingerprint scanners built into the screens, NFC and Android 12 OS with Magic UI 6.0 interface and Google services.
So far, these characteristics have not been confirmed in any way, so they should be treated with skepticism. The official premiere of new products is expected on February 28, closer to that time we are waiting for confirmation (or refutation) of these parameters.

The next brainchild of Microsoft will go to rest. The company will stop supporting the Cortana app on Windows at the end of the year.

Microsoft is about to completely stop supporting the Cortana voice assistant. Already from the end of this year, support for this application will cease, although the company has not yet announced the exact date.
In general, this was more than expected, since the assistant introduced in 2015 did not gain popularity from the very beginning, and even Microsoft itself quickly stopped somehow promoting it. Now the company has unveiled the Windows Copilot tool, which will offer much the same as Cortana, only bigger and better.
Actually, in Windows 11, initially Cortana did not have any significant place and did not appear when the OS was first loaded.
However, Microsoft notes that the changes will only affect Cortana on Windows, while the assistant will still be available in Outlook Mobile, Teams Mobile, Microsoft Teams display and Microsoft Teams room.
